BRIMFIELD -- Brimfield Recreation's website is directing families to register for its youth sports programs through Sports Connect, with soccer listed as the featured fall sport.

TOWN -- Brimfield Recreation, a volunteer-run organization under the Brimfield Athletic Association, lists soccer as a fall program with divisions for Pre-K to Kindergarten, Grades 1-2 (5v5), Grades 3-4 (7v7), and Grades 5-6 (9v9). The department also lists basketball for winter (Kindergarten through Grades 9-10), and baseball and softball for fall and spring. Baseball divisions include T-Ball (Pre-K to Kindergarten), Coach Pitch (Grades 1-2), Minors (Grades 3-4), and Majors (Grades 5-6); softball is offered for Grades 3-4 and Grades 5-6. Registration, schedules, standings, and roster management are handled through Sports Connect, and the department says it posts real-time updates, weather cancellations, and event photos on Facebook. The department notes all coaches complete background checks under its Zero Tolerance Policy.
